TASSELS Teens and Students with Seizures/Epilepsy Living Socially
A typical meeting is a place where you may:
- Enjoy a fun and relaxed social atmosphere
- Share support and encouragement
- Talk about the issues that concern you with people who are in similar situations
- Give and receive information about epilepsy and treatments
WHO: Teens age 10-17, their parents or guardians. Any friends or relatives that are interested are also encouraged to attend. Foundation staff and volunteers will be leading the meetings and any activities.
WHEN: The last Monday of each month from 6:30-8:00 pm
WHERE: In the Dempsey Family Education and Resource Center in the Neuroscience Tower at Riverside Methodist Hospital located at 3535 Olentangy River Road Columbus Ohio 43214. Park in the red or blue parking lots, parking passes will be provided
WHY: TASSELS was started by two Camp Firebird campers to continue the fun, friendships and support that were developed at camp throughout the year. We encourage you to bring your friends.
