Welcome to the 9th annual Stroll for Epilepsy! Join us at the Polaris Fashion Place on Saturday, January 28, 2012 for food, fun and prizes while helping to raise awareness and money for the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio. All are welcome to participate in this leisurely stroll and are asked to collect pledges from family, friends and co-workers. A minimum of $25 in pledges is required for participants to compete for valuable prizes in the treasure hunt throughout the mall.

It’s the perfect opportunity to get out of the house, get some exercise and take part in making a difference for those affected by epilepsy! Our goal is to raise $45,000, so we need your help. All money raised stays locally. Make your tax-deductible donation or pledge today and take the first step toward helping us achieve our goal.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at the main entrance of the Polaris mall. Be sure to browse the silent auction in the food court while you enjoy music and wait for the stroll begin at 10:00 a.m.

Here's what some people had to say about Stroll and the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio...

If your family has been touched by epilepsy, then you know the frustrations and challenges that accompany this disorder. That’s why we’re so pleased to have the support of the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio. It has been like an extended family to us, providing both educational and emotional support. We know the Epilepsy Foundation will be there when we need them.

When I learned my daughter had epilepsy, I was at a complete loss.  I was immediately put in touch with the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio. They helped me to understand what I was facing and answered questions I didn’t even know I had. If they hadn’t been there, I don’t know what I would have done.

Epilepsy?!?!? We didn't know anything about it until our daughter, Amanda, started having seizures at six months old. Amanda is now 9 and in 3rd grade and Epilepsy is still a very big part of our lives. Through EFCO informational programs and various activities, we have benefited as a family and Amanda has been able to participate in many activities that one might not think possible. We are happy to support the Stroll for Epilepsy and to help raise awareness about seizure disorders.

Every family member became involved in Stroll for Epilepsy.  It gave us the opportunity to work together and to do something to help Maddie as well as hundreds of other children who face the struggles of living with epilepsy every day.
