TASSELS Teens and Students with Seizures/Epilepsy Living Socially
A typical meeting is a place where you may:
- Enjoy a fun and relaxed social atmosphere
- Share support and encouragement
- Talk about the issues that concern you with people who are in similar situations
- Give and receive information about epilepsy and treatments
WHO: Teens age 12-17, their parents or guardians. Any friends or relatives that are interested are also encouraged to attend. Foundation staff and volunteers will be leading the meetings and any activities.
WHEN: The last Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 pm
WHERE: Bing Cancer Center in the Atrium Level (ground floor) meeting rooms (500 Thomas Ln., Columbus, OH 43215). Park in the Purple parking garage–$2.00 fee when you exit
WHY: TASSELS was started by two Camp Firebird campers to continue the fun, friendships and support that were developed at camp throughout the year. We encourage you to bring your friends.
