The mission of the Fund is to help protect the civil rights of people with epilepsy, and our primary strategy is to refer discrimination cases to competent attorneys (who have agreed to provide some level of free legal services) and to provide legal support to these attorneys. By going to their Web site, consumers and their representatives can request an attorney referral on-line; they can also access many legal fact sheets and other resources that explain their rights and can assist with their self-advocacy efforts.
