UPDATE: Watch the video below from WCPO to learn more about Scott Badzik’s journey to recovery and how his fellow runners have helped him reach the starting line.
Besides accomplishing a lifelong dream of running in this prestigious event, Scott would also like to invite family and friends to celebrate his accomplishments by donating to Camp Flame Catcher, a program that is near and dear to Scott.
Scott and his daughter annually volunteer at camp and his presence has made a profound impact on many campers. Scott motivates and challenges them to reach beyond their seizures and attain all they can. His witness of living life to the fullest is a testimony to all.
It costs $375.00 to send a child to camp. Many of the families cannot afford this fee because of the high cost of epilepsy. They are never turned away from camp but, your donation to camp in honor of Scott will help many children enjoy this experience.
